Generally, this information is requested when you create a registration ID on the website or when you download free software, enter a contest, subscribe to email newsletters, or join a restricted access e‑classroom. Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under the conditions set out above. Within the company, data is stored on password-controlled servers with limited access. Your data may be stored and processed in the Republic of Croatia or any other country where Proficiens Academy, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents are located.

You also have an important role in protecting your data. No one can see or edit your personal data without knowing your username and password, so do not share it with others.

USER PROFILES

Each registered user has a unique personal profile. Each profile is assigned a unique personal identification number, which helps us ensure that only you can access your profile.

When you register, we create your profile, assign you a personal identification number, then send that personal identification number back to your hard drive in the form of a cookie, which is a very small piece of code. This code is uniquely yours. It is your passport to a seamless journey through Proficiens Academy, allowing you to access our online courses and trainings, subscribe to free newsletters, and enroll in new courses or trainings without having to fill out registration forms with information you have already entered. Even if you change computers, you will not have to register again – just use your Registration ID to identify yourself.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

When you join Proficiens Academy, you provide us with your contact information, including your name and email address. We use this information to send you updates about your order, surveys to measure your satisfaction with our service, and announcements about new and exciting services we offer. When you order from us, we ask for your billing address, but not your credit card. All of our transactions are securely processed by PayPal. For your convenience, we store your billing information in case you want to order from us again (except for your credit card information), but we do not use this information again without your permission.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing, and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, shipping packages, and processing event registrations.
